To
keep with certain insurance company
and computer estimating service guidelines,
EMPIRE AUTO PARTS will reimburse labor
charges for installation of parts found
to be defective after installation.
Reimbursement will be made on the following
basis:
- The auto repair
shop representative must inform us
of the problem at the time of discovery.
At that time, we will at our option,
send a technician to inspect the problem
or authorize the repair facility to
provide documentation that clearly
represents the problem. In order to
properly submit a claim to our manufacturers,
all labor claims must be accompanied
by pictures.
- It shall always
be the responsibility of the purchaser
to check parts for correctness and
defects prior to preparation and installation.
There shall be no compensation made
for work performed in error.
- Any repair facility that has been
deliquent in payments shall have waived
their right to claim compensation
for labor.
- Labor reimbursement
will be paid for the area in which
the part/parts are located.
Labor times will be taken from the
most current edition of the Mitchell
Estimating Guide. No reimbursement
will be made for adjacent parts, blend
or prep times.
- The rates set in this policy are
as follows:
|
=
$32.00 an hour |
|
= $32.00 an hour |
|
= $17.00 an hour |
EMPIRE
AUTO PARTS' policy on labor reimbursement
is designed to permit quality control
follow-up and protection from frivolous
claims of poor fit. Important
information can be gained by on-site
inspection of defective parts.
